Their parent classes were also great to try to learn a bit in order to practice at home together. We’ve tried some other Mandarin teachers and much prefer this programme and resources!

My children have been attending Mandarin Stars for 5 years after we returned from a couple of expat years living in China. The importance of being able to speak other languages is so important and Mandarin Stars is a great way for children who aren’t native Chinese speakers to learn the language and have fun at the same time. The classes are well managed in person and online and the staff have always been very welcoming.

Our son has been attending Mandarin Stars since he was 2 years old. 3 years on and he still loves it and can’t wait for a next class. He has enjoyed learning in a fun and friendly environment. The teachers are motivated and knowledgeable. At all times we have found the teachers accomodating and courteous. Throughout Covid Mandarin Stars made sure the learning could continue through zoom and other platform so our son didn’t miss out on any lessons. He continued to make great progress. We sincerely recommend this fantastic school and are very happy to be part of it for years to come!

Learning Mandarin has been the best decision over the years, and has increased my language ability and cultural understanding greatly. Beginning at the age of 6 years old, this journey began early and has developed over the years, right up to 16 years old. Learning Mandarin from a young age has so many benefits, as the foundations and basics are formed at a young age greatly help the development over the future, and building upon these early foundations make the learning of the language easier to understand when learning new vocabulary, phrases, culture and pronunciation. Mandarin is an exciting language to learn, and opens up to so many opportunities. Over my experience and opportunities through Mandarin Stars, I have been able to attend and perform at Chinese Spectacular concerts, attend culture classes (learning and experiencing Chinese foods, festival and sport traditions), and even becoming equip to travel to China and tour Beijing and Shanghai. Mandarin Stars classes each week have taught me so much over the years, and is especially beneficial to additional Chinese classes at school. Mandarin is such an exciting, learnable and fascinating language of the future, and I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to learn it.

Kids really enjoy going to Mandarin Star. It is a fun way to learn Chinese with interactive games, songs and activities! The teachers and resources help make language learning interesting and practical. Highly recommend!

My child started learning Chinese with Mandarin Stars since preschool. I initially chose MS because of the number of classes on offer at various locations. The teachers are energetic and engaging, and over the years, have introduced many fun ways to learn Chinese. I like MS’s immersive approach to teaching, and the focus on a set of subjects over 2-3 weeks, helps my child to remember what he has learnt for a long time.

Our eldest is on to his 3rd year with Mandarin Stars – having started in the toddler classes and now moving into kindergarten. He really enjoys the lessons and we are very happy with the content and materials provided by his teachers. Neither of his parents are Mandarin speakers, but the materials provided have made it easy for us to help support his learning. We’ve just enrolled his younger brother for his first term as well! Easily recommend them if you’re looking for some good language tutoring for kids.

I’ve been sending my daughter to Mandarin Stars since she was 18 months. That was about 4 years ago. The teachers are so patient and they have very fun, engaging sessions to keep the children interested. This includes interactive activities, singalongs, arts and craft. Who knew learning a new language could be so fun?! I recommend anyone who would like their children to learn Mandarin.
